Coming before the Rev. Steven J. Brice August 6 in St. John's Catholic Church to be married during the nuptials were Miss Theresa Ann Geessert, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Gessert, Route 4, Marshfield, and Thomas Mark Hasz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hasz of Route 1, Granton.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents during ceremonies for which Miss Sheila Steiner was organist and Mark Lavey, soloist.

The bride wore an entrained ivory satin gown and matching hat. She carried an ivory fan with roses, carnations, forget-me-nots and angel lace.

Miss Kathryn Gessert of Marshfield was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Annette Gessert and Miss Mary Skaya of Marshfield and Mrs. Roger Hasz, Granton. They had blouson formals of printed chiffonette and lace and color-coordinated fans with similar flowers.

Leroy Hasz of Granton was best man. Groomsmen were Darryl Hasz of Granton, Mark Gessert of Spencer and Roger Hasz, Granton. Ushering were James Salisbury and Gordon Ziebart.

The wedding reception and dinner were in Monsignor Schuh Hall of St. John's Parochial School and the dance was at the Sportsman's Club in Granton. The newlyweds are living on Route 1, Granton, and plan a cruise at a later date.

The Bride graduated in 1982 from Marshfield Senior High School and attended the University of Wisconsin Center, Marshfield-Wood County, for a year. She is a sales associate for H.C. Prange Co. Her husband, who farms, graduated in 1979 from Granton High School and in 1981 graduated from the Farm Industry Short Course at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
