On Sunday, Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Granton, of which the Rev. Kevin L.
Wenker is pastor, will hold another centennial service with the Rev. Roland
Roehrs giving the message on the theme, "Witnessing in Grace."
The liturgists will be the Revs. Gary, Melvin and Richard Thur. Roehrs served
the congregation from 1967-1973 and presently is pastoring a congregation in
Janesville, Indiana.
The Thurs are former members and have gone into the ministry from the Granton
congregation. Their mother, Mrs. Freda Thur, still resides in the area.
Following the service, there will be a potluck dinner hosted by the AAL group.
Friends and former members are invited.
