Rayner, Angeline (4 Apr 1889 – 7 May 1973)

Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Abbotsford for Mrs. Angeline F. Rayner, 84, who died Monday, May 7, 1973 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.

Visitation was held Tuesday at Polnaszek Funeral Home, where a parish Rosary was said at 8 p.m.

The former Angeline Franck was born in Eau Claire on April 4, 1889. She was married to Charles M. Rayner in Northfield, Minnesota. He preceded her in death in February of 1962.

She received her education in Eau Claire and moved to Abbotsford with her husband, who was Station Agent for the Soo Line Railroad here. She had been a resident of Abbotsford for the past thirty years, where she was a member of St. Bernard’s Catholic Church.

Mrs. Rayner is survived by a grandson, Charles R. Rayner, Oshkosh; a brother, John Franck, Eau Claire; five sisters, Mrs. A. A. (Frances) Wiley, Mrs. Mary Nelson, Miss Eva Franck and Miss Veronica Franck, Eau Claire, and Mrs. Urban (Ann) Hanson, Oakland, California.

Her husband, a son, two brothers and a sister preceded her in death.

Funeral services for Mrs. Angeline F. Rayner of Abbotsford, who died May 7, 1973 at the age of 84, were held Wednesday, May 9 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Abbotsford.

Rev. Emil Hodnik officiated at the services. Pallbearers were: C. J. Klieforth, Mal Lamont, C. T. Dolan, Joseph Sulik, and Robert Goldamer. Burial was made in the Abbotsford Cemetery.
