Runge, Diane Louise (2 May 1981)

The Neillsville United Church of Christ was the Saturday afternoon, May 2, site for the nuptials of Diane Louise Runge and David Alan Brady, both of Marshfield. The Rev. Gary Clark officiated at the ceremony. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Dale Runge, Neillsville, and Mrs. Marlene Brady, rural Edgerton.

Offering special music at the service was Mary Jo Short and Deon Spangler.

Carol Halvorson of Tomah was the maid of honor. She was joined by Mrs. Alan Revling of Auburndale and Rhonda Runge of Neillsville. Michael Schrage of Carrolton, Texas, was bestman. He was joined by Dennis Brady of Whitewater and Rex Rockenbach of Madison. Ushering were Ray Rockenbach of Madison. Ushering were Ray Revord and Harold Runge, both of Neillsville.

The bride wore a layered, Chantilly lace gown with bishop sleeves, Queen Anne neckline and sweeping cathedral train. She carried a cascading bouquet of pink roses, white carnations and baby’s breath. Her attendants wore blue, peach and yellow floral dresses with satin ribbons and white lace accents. They carried bouquets of carnations and baby’s breath, which matched their gowns.

Following the wedding, a reception and dinner was held at the Granton Sportsmen’s Club with a dance held later in the evening. The couple left on a two-week wedding trip to California.

The new Mrs. Brady graduated from Neillsville High School in 1975 and is a data entry operator for Figi’s, Inc., of Marshfield. Her husband is a 1976 graduate of Edgerton Senior High School and in 1977 from Blackhawk Tech. He is a repairer of office machines for Bauernfeind’s of Marshfield.
