Two Clark County girls have been awarded $300 to further their education. Susan Richmond, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerald Richmond, Greenwood, who received the Extension Homemakers Scholarship, will be a senior in fall majoring in nursing at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Amy Horn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Darrel Horn, Greenwood, received the 4-H and Extension Homemakers Scholarship. She will be a sophomore majoring in veterinary medicine at the UW-River Falls. The two competed with 22 others in the county. Miss Richmond's alternate is Karen Metzke, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Metzke, Greenwood, and Miss Horn's is Judith Heindl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Heindl, Dorchester. Scholarship funds are realized by homemakers at the county fair dairy bar and 4-H leaders federation through plat-book sales.
