Riplinger, Hazel M. (23 September 1908 - 31 March 1983)

ABBOTSFORD -- Hazel M. Riplinger, 74, of 105 W. Elm St., Abbotsford, died last evening at the Continental Manor Nursing Home, Abbotsford, where she resided the past 2 1/2 months.

Services will be Saturday at the Rux Funeral Home, Colby. The Rev. David J. Ault of St. John's Lutheran Church, North Spencer, will officiate. Burial will be in Colby Memorial Cemetery.

She was born September 23, 1908 in Colby, to Mr. and Mrs. Fred (Bertha Mihlke) Riplinger. She was employed in Madison, Milwaukee and Chicago until 1945. She served as postmaster at Riplinger for a time, and had an insurance agency there until she began employment at Abbotsford City Hall. She never married.

Survivors include two brothers, Ellis on Montclair, New Jersey and Frank of Marine on St. Croix. Minnesota; and one sister, Mrs. Peter (Helen) Strom of Bremerton, Washington.

She was predeceased by her parents and a brother. Memorials may be given to St. John's Lutheran Church in Riplinger.
