Wagner, Gail Lynn (13 August 1983)

Miss Gail Lynn Wagner and Dean R. Wilde, both of Colby, were married August 13 at Zion Lutheran Church there with the Rev. Robin O. Fink performing the ceremony for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Wagner, Route 1, Arpin, and the son of Gene Wilde, Colby, and Mrs. Anita Wilde, Minocqua.

The Bride escorted to the altar by her father, wore a Queen Anne gown and fingertip veil. In her bouquet were lavender roses, white carnations and baby's breath.

Miss Janis Ystad was maid of honor with Diane Wagner and Barb Maldonis as bridesmaids. They had lavender ensembles and bouquets of lavender roses, daisies and baby's breath.

Erica Ewert was flower girl and Justin Wagner was ring bearer.

Rod Thieme of Colby was best man; Butch Firnstahl and Danny Wilde were groomsmen.

Dinner was served in the church gymnasium and the dance was at The Sword, Colby. The newlyweds will live in Colby after a honeymoon at Four Seasons Resort, Minocqua.

The bride is a 1978 graduate of Colby High School and works at Medo Farms Restaurant, Abbotsford. Her husband graduated in 1975 from the same school and in 1976 from Nicolet College, Rhinelander. He works at Wilde's Paint Store, Colby.
