The Colby High School graduating classes of 1933 and 1934 chose the Colby Centennial weekend to gather for a reunion at the house of Dav-Ed in Abbotsford on Saturday evening.

Following a social hour, dinner was served to ten members of the class of 1924 and twenty members of the 1933 class and their spouses.

A side table held the clas photos and framed memorial for deceased members, Arthur Hemmy Jr., John Velek, Robert Schmitt, Lester Sonnemann, Walther Schorer and Berneita Herrmann, and deceased teachers, Harry Bender, Spencer Wallace and Archie Tweit.

Wilbur Becker was master of ceremonies. Letters from absent classmates were read by Mrs. Alois Gabriel and Mrs. Bernard Tennis read correspondence she received from absent teachers. She also gave a resume of the Colby school system in the past 40 years.

Guest teachers present were Mrs. Harry Bender, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Starkey, Deming, N.M., and Miss Dolores Flynn, Wausau.
