Mr. and Mrs. Harley German of Route 2, Owen, were honored at a golden anniversary party at the home of their son, Warren German, on August 5, 1973. The Germans were wed August 6, 1923.

They are the parents of four sons, all of whom were present for the anniversary party: Harold, Kenosha; Donald, St. Paul, Minnesota; Marvin, Withee, and Warren, Route 2, Owen.
