Ron Apfelbeck, Abbotsford, is leasing the gas station on the corner of Highway 13 and County Trunk N in Colby from the Marshfield Oil Company.

Ron was employed by Herman Weigel at the Standard Station in Abbotsford, remained as a part-time employee when Steve Balla took over that station, and also worked part-time for Larry Lundt. He has about four years of experience in the field.

He is operating the station alone, with open hours from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Besides selling Citgo gas and oil, Ron will do minor auto repair and auto clean-up, a service he performs for car lots, which includes cleaning engines and shampoo of interiors.

He will also be handling Firestone tires.
