Korth, Louise J. (9 December 1894 - 28 September 1983)

NEILLSVILLE -- Services for Mrs. Leo (Louise J.) Korth, 88, of the Neillsville Memorial Home who died there Wednesday, will be Saturday at the Gesche Funeral Home.

The Rev. Gary L. Clark of the United Church of Christ will officiate. Burial will be in the Neillsville cemetery. Pallbearers will be Howard, Harlo, Dennis Sterling and Dean Olson and Larry Sternitzky.

The former Louise J. Schrank was born December 9, 1894 in Fort Atkinson, to the late Mr. and Mrs. William (Elizabeth Kutz) Schrank and received her education at St. Paul's Parochial School there. She worked in the knitting mills there for several years.

On June 1, 1920 in Fort Atkinson she was married to Leo R. Korth. They moved to the Neillsville area where they farmed in the Town of Grant for many years. They retired from farming in 1969, but continued to live there. She was a resident of the Memorial Home the past six years.

A member of the United Church of Christ. Mrs. Korth is survived by her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Raymond (Gretchen) Barth of Whitewater; six grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by three sons, a daughter, two brothers, a sister and a grandchild.
