Smith Frank F. (20 November 1896 - 01 October 1983)

OWEN - Frank F. Smith, 86, of Sunshine Apartments, Owen, died today at his apartment,

Services will be Monday at Nazareth Lutheran Church, Withee, the Rev. Peter Thomsen officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Withee.

Visitation will be at Maurina Funeral Home in Owen.

Mr. Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. William F. (Augusta Zimmerman) Smith, was born November 20, 1896 in Fond du Lac County.

He and Irja Keskimaki were married August 20, 1924 at Dorchester. They farmed in the Town of Hoard until 1953, when they moved to Owen. He worked at the Clark County Health Care Center until retiring in 1973.

A World War I veteran and a member of Nazareth Lutheran Church. Mr. Smith is survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Eugene (Joyce) Karaba, Withee; a son, Clifford Smith, Hazelhurst; a brother, Ray Smith, King; three sisters, Mrs. Victor (Mae) Beebe of Loveland, Colorado, and Mrs. Della Netto and Mrs. Ben (Evelyn) Kohlbeck, both of Milwaukee; 15 grandchildren and 15 gret-grandchildren.

Besides her (his) parents, she (he) was predeceased by seven brothers and five sisters.
