GREENWOOD -- Alice Nielsen was elected as president recently of the American Lutheran Church of Women of Our Savior's Lutheran Church.

Others elected were Lynn Adams, secretary, and Judy Krultz, stewardship secretary. Nominating Committee members are Alice Behrens, one year, and Eleanor Johnson, two years.

The Stewardship Committee reported that 100 quilts have been completed for Lutheran World Relief. An emergency food pantry for Clark County has been started for anyone in need of food.

Hostess for the October meeting will be Janene Backus, Benijee Barr and Alice Behrens. The Mary Circle will be in charge of the program.

Circles meeting in October are the Dorcas Circle at the home of Lois Wuethrich, Bible study by Judy Braun; the Esther Circle at the Verna Birkett home, with Hattie Hegenbarth leading Bible study; the Mary Circle at the Carolyn Kochel home, with Bible study by Judy Krultz, and the Naomi Circle at the home of Eleanor Ystad, with Bible study by Helen Axelson.
