On February 18, 1973, Paul and Judy Smriga were installed as members in Phi
Delta Kappa, professional education fraternity. The ceremony took place in the
Fireside Room at the Holiday Inn of Eau Claire. Members are selected on the
basis of their contributions and professionalism in education. Eight candidates
were initiated into membership this year in the University of Wisconsin, Eau
Claire chapter. Dr. Juanita Sorenson of Eau Claire sponsored the Smrigas at the
initiation ceremony.
