Church services were held at Bethany Lutheran Church, Owen, on Sunday, April 16,
1978 with Pastor Salmen of Stombaugh, Michigan conducting the service, and Mrs.
Salmen at the organ.
After the service a delicious lunch was served, including a beautiful birthday
cake honoring Mrs. Sofira Kallio on her 84th birthday.
Happy Birthday was sung to Mrs. Kallio, and after the lunch a social hour
followed.
Mrs. Kallio wishes to thank everyone who helped make her birthday such a special
occasion.
