Harry R. Friedenfels, age 41, of Rt. 6, Chippewa Falls, died on Saturday, April 15, 1978 as the result of an auto accident in the Town of La(Unreadable).

The deceased was born July 31, 1936 in Owen, Wisconsin, the son of Emil and Ann Friedenfels. He moved to Chippewa Falls eleven year ago and was employed for the last eight years by the Chippewa Falls County Highway Department.

He was married on August 24, 1959 to Patricia Johnson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.F. Johnson, Owen, in Owen, Wisconsin.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, John and Daniel; three daughters, Barbara, Christine, and Rebecca, all at home; his mother, Mrs. Ann Friedenfels, Owen; five brothers, Robert of Medford, Frank of Owen, Richard of Oak Creek, Ed of Eau Claire, and Donald of Owen; four sisters, Mrs. James (Daisy) Bullock, Minneapolis, Mrs. James (Dolores) Mercier of Colby, Mrs. John (Dorothy) Vocelka, Stoughton, and Mrs. Robert (Gloria) Garcia of Oregon, Wisconsin.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Karen Friedenfels in 1973, on brother, William in 1953, and his father.

Services were held on Tuesday, April 18, 1978 at 1:30 p.m. at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Chippewa Falls, and burial was at Ba..(can’t read it?) Cemetery.
