Eaton, Kathleen Gail (17 September 1983)

After Mr. and Mrs. Paul Clemens Esselman were married September 17, they left on a wedding trip to the Bahamas and now are living at Oak Creek.

The former Kathleen Gail Eaton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Eaton, Oak Creek, was given in marriage by her father to the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clemens Esselman, Route 2, Loyal, during the ceremony performed by the Rev. Donald Surges in St. Matthew's Catholic Church, Oak Creek. Barb Schroeder played the organ and Rose Schmidt was soloist.

The bride had an ivory chiffon and alencon lace gown with cathedral-length veil. In her cascade bouquet were gardenias, ivory roses, burgundy lilies, forget-me-nots, wild roses and baby's breath.

Miss Ann Esselman of Route 2, Loyal, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Stacey Henne of Oak Creek. Mrs. Betty of Route 1, Trail, Minnesota. Mrs. Lisa Comp of Cudahy and Mrs. Mary Eaton, Oak Creek, with Miss Caroline Eaton of Oak Creek as junior bridesmaid. They had burgundy taffeta formals and bouquets of ivory roses, burgundy lilies, wild roses and baby's breath.

Tom Esselman of Route 2, Loyal, was best man. Groomsmen were Jeff Brock, Tim Schecklman and Brian Schultz of Loyal and Patrick Eaton, Oak Creek. Ring bearer was Robert Eaton.

Ushering were Roger Rueth, Loyal, and Mark Behr, Oak Creek.

The afternoon reception was at the bride's parental home. The dinner and dance were at Veterans Park.

The bride is a secretary/bookkeeper for the city of Oak Creek Water and Sewer Utility. Her husband is employed by Southeaster Wisconsin Products Co.
