Mr. and Mrs. Leonard M. Peche, Medford, announce the engagement of their daughter, Beverly Ann, Marshfield, to John Michael Schmidt, Colby, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Schmidt, Route 2, Colby.

Miss Peche graduated in 1970 from Medford Senior High School, and on May 22, 1973, from St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing at Marshfield. 

Her fiancé graduated from Colby High School in 1968, and took an electronics courses at Milwaukee Tech.  He served in the U.S. Army for two years and is employed at S & K DeLaval Dairy Equipment at Colby.

The couple is planning to be married October 26, 1974 at Medford.
