Bedell, Kathleen Mary (19 September 1981)

The new Mr. and Mrs. Harold Vine are making their home in Granton. The couple was married on Saturday afternoon, September 19, in Neillsville.

United in marriage were Kathleen Mary Bedell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Bedell, 109 W. Eleventh St., Neillsville; and Harold George Vine, son of Mrs. Frieda Vine and the late Irving Vine, rural Granton.

Chosen as maid of honor was Nancy Mazola of Marshfield. Best man was Jim Beilke of Granton.

The bride wore a Victorian styled, floor-length gown of English with Schiffli embroidered lace ruffle around the yoke, long sleeves and tiered skirt with ribbon accent. She carried a colonial bouquet of powder blue-tipped white carnations, blue asters and baby’s breath. Her attendant wore a luster-glo knit gown in powder blue and which featured a blouson-styled top, elbow-length sleeves, picture neckline and handkerchief overskirt with full length under skirt. She carried a small version of the bride’s bouquet.

Following the ceremonies, a reception and dance was held at the Sportsmen’ Club in Granton.

The bride is employed as a nurse’s assistant at Neillsville Memorial Home. The groom is a milk hauler for Lynn Dairy.
