St. Mary's Catholic Church of Colby was the setting for the wedding ceremony
September 24 for Sara Lynn Koch and Mitchell John Kaiser, bot of Marshfield.
Parents of the couple are Dr. and Mrs. James Koch of 106 S. Second St., Colby
and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Kaiser of 215 s. First St., Colby.
The Rev. Raymond Pedretti, officiated at the service. Adell Frome was organist
while vocalists were Greg Reierson and Chris Schaefer.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory floor-length gown with
nylon sheer and chapel train. Her headpiece was a tiara cap with matching lace,
pearls, and crystal. She carried a cascade bouquet of ivory roses, pink
forget-me-nots and baby's breath with lace and Boston ferns.
Mrs. Patricia Edblom of Colby was matron of honor. Other attendants were Mrs.
Mark Kaiser of Colby, Miss Kathy Saeger of St. Paul, Minnesota, and Mrs. Kerry
Hansen of Spencer.
They wore dusty-rose floor-length dresses in taffeta with spaghetti straps,
button-down short waisted jacket. They carried single pink long-stemmed silk
roses with baby's breath and ferns. They also wore forget-me-nots and baby's
breath in their hair.
John Siarjowski of Savannah, Georgia was best man. Groomsmen were Mark Kaiser,
Kerry Hansen and Marty Kaiser. David Koch and Marlin Kaiser seated wedding
guests.
A reception, dinner and dance were at the Village Plaza, Spencer
The bride is a 976 Colby High School and a 1980 University of Wisconsin-Stout
graduate, where she earned a degree in psychology with a business minor. She is
a secretary at the Marshfield Clinic. Her husband is a 19776 Colby High graduate
and attained the rank of sergeant while serving four years in the U.S. Air
Force. He is a postal clerk for the U.S. Postal Service, Spencer.
Following a wedding trip to Savanah, Georgia, they will reside at 317 W.
McMillan St.
