The Rev. Robert Swalve of Waterloo, Iowa has accepted a call to served the Presbyterian Church at Abbotsford.  Rev. Swalve is 27 years old, married, and has two daughters, ages three and one and one-half years.

 

He is a native of Illinois and graduated from the Dubuque Theological Seminary, Cum Laude, and since 1970 has served the Barclay United Presbyterian Church at Waterloo, Iowa.

 

The Rev. and Mrs. Swalve plant to move here the last of April and he will begin his duties May 1, 1974.

 

A reception was held Saturday afternoon at the church lounge to welcome Rev. and Mrs. Salve.  Members of the congregation and friends of the church were in attendance.  The Swalve family were house guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Allen over the weekend.
