Forty-nine Colby High School music students journeyed to Eau Claire Saturday to
participate in the State Music Festival, five of them earning firsts in the
competition there.
Carol Kops, Debbie Pankow and Daine Rankel received first for vocal solos; Carol
Kops and Debbie Pankow, first for vocal duets, and Becke Hinke and Debbie Pankow
a first for their piano duet.
