Mayer, Theodore (1937 – 23 October 1981)

Theodore Mayer, 83, passed away on Friday, October 23, in a Black River Falls nursing home.

Mr. Mayer was born near Humbird. On June 4, 1929, he married Beatrice Brandstedter in Fairchild ceremonies. The couple then farmed in the Fairchild area.

Funeral services were held on Monday, October 26, from St. Joseph’s at Fairview Catholic Church with burial made in the parish cemetery.

Surviving him, besides his wife, are six sons, Harold of Neillsville, James of Brookfield, Robert, John and Larry, all of Fairchild, and Edward of Augusta; and three daughters, Phyllis of Fairchild Bernadine Peterson of Hatfield and Frances Damberg of Bloomington, Minn. Also surviving is a brother, Joe, Humbird; two sisters, anna Zimmerman and Tracy Bemis, both of Humbird; 32 grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
