Dux Family (1st Reunion - 1981)

The descendants of Fred and Wilhelmina Dux gathered for their first family reunion on Saturday, October 24, At the Neillsville American Legion Hall. Of a total of 110 on the family tree, 65 were in attendance.

The afternoon and evening celebration included special honors for Otto Dux of Neillsville who is the last of eight children from the original family.

Attending the event were Roland and Audry May, Dennis and Diane May and children, Bonnie Chiapusio and sons, Robert and Sandra Kietzman, Robert, and Julie Thompson, Carol Zank and Barbara Vorac, all of Milwaukee; Maurice and Rosie May, West Allis; Lawrence and Agnes Ahrenkiel, Hayward; Arlene Bartz and Bud Fanning, both of Janesville; and Clarence and Marion DeCremer, DeForest.

Joining them were Dr. James and Gwyneth DeCremer and children, Madison; Harris and Mary Dux and son, Hudson; Marvin and Sharon Dux and children, Milton, William and Ruth Halverson, Glidden; Roger and LaVerne Kadolph and children, Loyal; George and Esther Volz, Steve and Lisa Dux and Lester and Lillian May, all of Wisconsin Rapids; Walter and Loretta Dux, Friendship; and from Neillsville came Otto Dux, Alma Dux, Fred and Kathy Dux and sons, Dennis and Loriann Langreck, Scott and Becky Kyle, Carl and Donna Zank and children and Louis and Paul Zank.
