Hutt, Marilyn Kay (20 Jul 1974)

After a wedding trip to the western states, Mr. and Mrs. William Frederick Bobbe, who were married Saturday, July 20, 1974, at the First United Presbyterian Church, Abbotsford, will be making theire home at Howards Grove, Wisconsin.

The bride is the former Marilyn Kay Hutt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Hutt, Abbotsford, and her husband is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Darrel Bobbe, Abbotsford.

Escorted down the aisle by her father, the bride appeared wearing floor length candlelight crepe gown styled with an empire waist. The sleeves and neckline were trimmed with lace. A matching lace Camelot cap held the elbow length veil. She carried a bouquet of pink roses, blue daisies, baby’s breath, and pom pons.

Matron of honor was Mrs. Michael Leahy, Cumberland, and bridesmaids were Miss Elizabeth Williams, Madison and Mrs. Randall Van Blaricom, Abbotsford. The attendants wore light blue floral print eyelet dresses with empire waists and bell sleeves. Each carried wicker baskets of blue tinted daisies.

Twin nieces of the bride, Miss Maria and Michelle Leahy, Cumberland, were flower girls and were attired in pink dresses identical to the bridesmaids.

John Bobbe, Menomonie, was the best man, and groomsmen were Dan Bobbe, and Tom Bobbe, both of Abbotsford. Michael Leahy and Leo Leahy, both of Cumberland, performed the ushering duties.

After the wedding, a reception and dinner were held at the Lamplighter in Medford.

The bride attended UW-Stout, Menomonie for two years, and is a graduate of the Minnesota School of business, Minneapolis. Her husband received his B.S. at UW-Stevens Point, and an M.S. from UW-Stout, Menomonie, and is presently guidance director at GlenBeaulah High School at Elkhart Lake.
