In an 8 p.m. ceremony July 20, 1974, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Athens, Tonda Mason, daughter of Mrs. Ralph Mason, and David Zettler, son of Mrs. Alton Zettler, all of Athens, exchanged wedding vows. Rev. Leonard Stashek performed the marriage ceremony.

Providing the nuptial music were Diane Ewan, Flutist , Dawn Riske, organist, and Patti Delaney, vocalist.

Renee Mason attended her sister as maid of honor. Mrs. Ronald Mueller and Mrs. Rodney Frahm, both sisters of the bride, and Debbie Craig, a friend of the bride, were bridesmaids.

Gene Zettler, a brother of the bridegroom, was the best man, and another brother, Tony Zettler, and Kevin Weise and Mike Gauerke, both friends of the bridegroom, were groomsmen.

For her wedding, the bride chose an embroidered eyelet jersey gown, accented with Venice lace trim. The dress was styled with bishop sleeves and deep ruffles trimmed with Venice lace. She carried a bouquet of miniature pink and white carnations, fashioned into a heart shape.

The attendants carried daisy and mum bouquets in colors to match their dresses.

The couple will reside at Route 2, Athens.
