A surprise party in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Mielke for their fifth wedding anniversary was held Saturday night at the Frankfort Town Hall.

Hostesses were Mrs. Elmer Bessler and Mrs. Albert Wolff.

Thos who attended were Mr. and Mrs. Otto Mielke, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Bessler, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Meilke, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Wolff and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Mielke, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Telschow, Mrs. Hulda Wolff, Mrs. Arlene Lueschow, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Kunkel and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Kunkel and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Krause, Mrs. Albert Schultz, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Grammar, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Miller, Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Kilty and family, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Kilty, and Reverend and Mrs. Nicholas and family.

Cards were played, lunch was served and a purse of money was presented to the couple.
