James K. Danielewicz, "DZ", "Coach", Jim, 79, resident of San Tan Valley, AZ, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at home. He was born on May 18, 1943.

He was beloved husband of the late Alfretta Ann Danielewicz whom he married in 1964; loving adored grandfather of Nikki (Brian) Miller, Luke (Melanie) Martinez; cherished great-grandfather of Zara Miller and Mila Martinez.
Jim was the devoted son of the late Steve and Alice Danielewicz , dear brother of Marge Sauerwein. He was a loving brother- in-law, fond cousin, nephew, uncle, great- uncle and friend to many.

Jim grew up in Thorp, he made cheese, was a barber, raised and rode horses, ran Travel Host magazine, a Realtor and tried his hand at Dairy Farming, before going back to college.

He graduated from die University of Arizona with his Bachelor of Science and followed his forever dream of teaching history and Coaching Basketball! He was a great Basketball Coach, and impacted so many lives in this position! He motivated everyone to be the best they could be, work as hard as they could, while having fun doing it!
He was a great husband and dad, he was the most supportive dad you could ever have! He loved to Golf, lived for the game. He could playback every round at every course! He lived life to the fullest and wanted his family to do the same! He lived his life his way!

DZ always had a vibrant outgoing personality, would always open the conversation, never backed down from a fight, and knew how to close down a bar! He loved his family and friends more than anything! He will be dearly missed by all.
