Bible Baptist-Christ Paulson (Ordained - 1982)

Pastor Chris Paulson was ordained to the ministry at the Bible Baptist Church in Neillsville, Saturday morning, January 9, by an ordaining council, made up of pastors and messengers from various Baptist Churches. Pastor Dan Whitehead, Rock Falls, was chosen moderator and Pastor Gary Thompson, Marshfield, was selected as clerk.

After hearing the testimonies of the conversion of Pastor Paulson and his wife, and of his call to the ministry, the council questioned him on his statement of convictions on Christian doctrine and the pastoral ministry. After a satisfactory period of questioning, the council moved to convene to an executive session where they voted their recommendation to the church.

Following the dinner served in the recreation hall, the ordination service was held in the church auditorium. Pastor Frank Moore, Stoughton, led the congregational singing. Solos were sung by Pastors Frank Moore and Whitehead and Mrs. Cliff Thorson. Pastor Whitehead gave the charge to the church and the candidate. The Rev. Paul Fosmark, Fourth Baptist Church, Minneapolis, delivered the sermon, followed by the laying on of hands by the council and the singing and presentation of the certificate of ordination.
