A class reunion for the Abbotsford class of 1959 was held at the Colby Hotel, with a cocktail hour from 7:30 to 8:30, followed by a dinner. A get-together after was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Apfelbeck. Refreshments and a midnight lunch were served.

Garry Koehler was master of ceremonies for the meeting, which took place after the dinner. He introduced each classmate with a quote from the 1959 annual, and they in turn introduced their spouses.

Mr. and Mrs. Huber Scidmore, Marshfield, a former teacher at Abbotsford High School, was the guest of honor.

He gave a talk on the past years at Abbotsford High School.

Mrs. Doris Apfelbeck gave out prizes for the following achievements: First letter (early bird gets the worm), Greg Krause; Largest family, seven children, Priscilla Peterson Dugenski, bottle of Excedrin; Least hair, Fred Wilson, large comb; youngest baby, Greg Krause, baby book; farthest distance, Bob Lindberg, Norfolk, box of stationary and a map; later married, Greg Koehler, bottle of no-doze.

After the dinner they went to the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Apfelbeck, where they spent the evening reminiscing.

The tables were decorated with the class colors, light blue and dark blue. Darlene Singstock made up a book concerning the last fifteen years and gave it to each classmate.

Those who attended were Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Armstrong (Nancy Mantik), Sun Prairie, Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Zettler (Shirley Cuta), Athens, Mr. and Mrs. James Apfelbeck (Doris Gumz), Colby, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Decker (Sylvia Keller), Libertyville, Illinois, Mr. and Mrs. Garry Koehler, Marshfield, Mr. and Mrs. Greg Krause, Prentice, Mr. and Mrs. Delyl Singstock (Darlene Krueger), Abbotsford, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lindberg, Norfolk, Mr. and Mrs. David (Adell Marcott) Hawks, Abbotsford, Mr. and Mrs. Shotlfuss (Judy Olson) Rosendale, Mr. and Mrs. Narcif Dugenski (Priscilla Peterson), Princeton, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Remus, Teresa, Wisconsin, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wilson, Lake Mills, and Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Haselow, Loyal.

The next class reunion will be held in ten years. This year’s hostesses were: Doris Apfelbeck, Garry Koehler, and Darlene Singstock. Next hostesses in ten years will be Adell Hawks and Fred Wilson.
