Trinity Lutheran Church at Unity was the setting Saturday, October 12, 1974 for the marriage of Mavis Raatz, Unity, and Marvin Augustine, Colby.

The Rev. James Primley, Unity, officiated at the 7 p.m. candlelight ceremony. Music was provided by Miss Susan Franke of Marshfield.

For the wedding the bride chose a mint green floor length gown and wor ea corsage of pink roses and yellow carnations.

Mr. and Mrs. James Schindler, Unity, were sole attendants. Mrs. Schindler wore a pink floor length gown and a corsage of yellow carnations.

A supper was served in the church basement following the ceremony. A reception and dance for friends and relatives was held in the evening at the Unity Memorial Hall. Music for dancing was provided by Mike Briske of Greenwood.

After a wedding trip Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Augustine will make their home on Route 1, Unity.
