Wuethrich Honors Employees (1982)

Mrs. Godfrey (Olive) Dyre was given special recognition at the 29th annual banquet of the John Wuethrich Creamery Company, Inc.; of rural Greenwood held on Saturday evening, April 24. Mrs. Dyre recently retired from the company after 15 years of employment.

Members of the Greenwood Satellites 4-H Club, led by Peggy Friske, provided entertainment at the Parkway Supper club banquet. Music was provided by Sandy Maas, Lyle Miller and Howie Sturtz, the latter also serving as emcee.

Employees receiving recognition, and the gifts or awards they received, were:

Mrs. Dyre, retiring after 15 years, a stadium blanket

Sidney Collins, 35 years, portable radio.

Rachel Richardson and Marvin Radke, each with 25 years, gold watches.

James Elsinger, James Horn, Wilma Jolivette and Frank Reising, each at the five year mark, pen and pencil sets.

Twelve company drivers earned recognition for accident-free records: Wausau Insurance honored Raymond Johnson, 17 years; Merle Krehmeyer, eleven years; Lawrence (Ozzie) Jackson, nine years; Nyle Brandt, Earl Caliebe and Daniel Krehmeyer, each at four years; James Horn and Frank Reising, each at three years; Dennis Cook, two years; and Jerry Krehmeyer and Dave Pieper, each at one year.
