Folks (l-r), Jane Handt, Neillsville; Cheryl Paine, Willard; and David Boe, Greenwood enjoy some conversation after a wonderful meal, one they look forward to every year. The Greenwood Area Fire Department hosted its annual pulled pork sandwich meal and cash raffle fundraiser Oct. 10. The meal included a sandwich, potato salad, pickle, dessert and refreshments. Between dine-in and carryout options, 692 meals with 33 extra sandwiches were served. Fire chief Delmond Horn said the fire department appreciated the community’s support every year.
