The Rev. Len Stashek at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Milan officiated at the noon marriage ceremony of Marilyn Kay Schreiber and Dennis G. Klemetson on Saturday, November 16, 1974.

The couple are the children of Mr. an d Mrs. Kenneth Schreiber, Abbotsford and Laurence Klemetson, Curtiss and Joyce Klemetson, Superior.

Mrs. Orville Barkow, organist, and Ruth Lotter, vocalist-guitarist and soloists, Diane and Donna Schreiber, twin sisters of the bride, provided the wedding music.

The bride appeared wearing her mother’s wedding gown, styled with a sweetheart neckline enhanced by an opal necklace with matching ring, a gift of the bridegroom. A Camelot headpiece secured her fingertip length veil. She carried a bouquet of pink roses and white carnations.

The bride’s sister-in-law, Mrs. Frank Schreiber, and Miss Marlene Orth, a friend, served as bridesmaids.

They were attired in floor length burgundy gowns which featured an empire waist and ecru lace collar and sleeves. Each carried a bouquet similar to that of the bride.

Attending the bridegroom were the bride’s brother, Frank Schreiber, and Mark Kramas, a friend.

Following the wedding ceremony a reception, dinner and dance for 350 guests were held at the Dorchester Memorial Hall.

The bride, a 1973 graduate of Abbotsford High School, is employed at Kramer’s Family Center. Her husband, a 1971 graduate of Abbotsford High School, is employed at Mid-State Land Fill.

The couple will make their home at Abbotsford.

Out of town guests attending the wedding were from Zion, Illinois, Appleton, Superior, Racine and Manitowoc.
