Lindow, Susan M. (17 April 1982)

The Rev. Frank Hinebaugh officiated at the Satruday afternoon, April 17, wedding of Susan M. Lindow and Gary C. Tuchscher. The vows were shared in Chili’s Immanuel United Methodist Church. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Marlyn Lindow, Rt. 1 Chili, and Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Tuchscher, Rt. 3 Marshfield.

Dawn Boettcher, a friend of the bride from Menomonie, was matron of honor. She was joined by Sandra McDonald, the bride’s sister of Eau Claire; Janet Tuchscher, the groom’s sister of Marshfield and Marcia Lindow, the bride’s sister-in-law of Eau Claire.

Serving as bestman was Vern Breseman, a friend from Chili. He was joined by Wally Freund, a friend of Marshfield; Jeff Lindow, the bride’s brother of Eau Claire; and Steve Meyer, a friend from Marshfield. Ushering were Tom McDonald, the bride’s brother-in-law of Eau Claire, and Jerry Tuchscher, the groom’s brother of Marshfield.

The bride wore her mother’s wedding dress of ivory satin and lace trim. She carried a cascade of pink roses, cymbidium orchids, stephanotis and greens. Her attendants wore satin gowns in dusty rose hues, and which featured sweetheart necklines and full skirts; their flowers consisted of lavender irises, daffodils, pink roses, daisies and pussy willows. The groom and his attendants wore gray ascot-styled tuxedos.

During the service, special organ music was presented by Bonnie Meissner. Following the service a reception and dinner was held in the church parlors.

The couple will make their home at rural Marshfield. The new Mrs. Tuchscher is a 1977 graduate of Marshfield Senior High School and is an orthodontic assistant. Her husband graduated in 1974 from the same High School and is employed by A & B Contractors.
