The Dorchester Cub Scout Pack 625 held their annual Blue and Gold Banquet Sunday at Memorial Hall. The noon dinner was potluck and was opened with a prayer led by the Rev. Roland Golz, pastor of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. Gary Diamond of WDLB Marshfield and Mrs. Diamond were special guests.

A special cake “The Cub Scout Express” was made by assistant den leader, Mrs. Larry Bengford and centered the table. The programs and nut cup mixtures were the efforts of Mrs. Golz, another assistant den leader.

Boys who received award were Dan Pecher and Greg Smith, Gold Arrows, and Kenneth Klumke and Todd Berger(?), Wolf Badge.

A penny carnival was held following the noon meal and award services. The scouts pinewood derby will be held at Memorial Hall on March 16, 1975. At 4 p.m. The public is invited to this annual event.

Mrs. Dick Smith dean leader of Pack 625 expressed her thanks to Howard Bedroske, committee man, and to John Pinter, for their assistance.
