Sherman, Rhonda (4 June 1982)

The Rev. William Noble officiated at the Friday late afternoon, June 4, wedding of Rhonda Sherman and Thomas Hubing. The nuptials were held at the Neillsville United Methodist Church. Parents of the couple are Melvin Sherman, Rt. 1 Chili, and Mr. and Mrs. Adrian Hubing, 1105 East Division St., Neillsville.

Bonnie Hohenstein, a sister of the bride from Neillsville, served as matron of honor. She was joined by Tammy Haupt, a friend from Granton, and Lori Hubing, the groom’s sister of Neillsville. Serving as bestman was Richard Sherman, the bride’s brother of Chili. He was joined by Terry and Dale Hohenstein, cousins of the groom from Neillsville. Ushering were Bryan Cullen and Brian Coleman, both friends of Granton. Jeff and Dawn Cullen, friends from Granton, were ringbearer and flower girl. Special music at the service was offered by Graham Rees.

The bride carried a fan-shaped bouquet of blue roses and white carnations. Her attendants wore gowns in spring colors of purple, green and yellow and each carried peach parasols. The flower girl wore a long white dress, trimmed in blue. The groom and his attendants were attired in black, tailed tuxedos.

After the service, a reception and dance was held at the Southern Clark County Sportsmen’s Club in Granton. The couple then left on a wedding trip to Wisconsin Dells.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Hubing will make their home at rural Chili. The groom is employed by the Neillsville Holiday Station-Store.
