Mr. and Mrs. Martin Weix, Colby, celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on Sunday, June 22, 1975. Open house was held at the Sword.

Mrs. Nora Kriplean, Milwaukee, and Dr. Frank Weix, Marshfield, attendants 55 years ago, as well as the couple’s 11 children were present for the celebration.

The Weix’s have 44 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Weix enjoys fishing and hunting, and Mrs. Weix spends her time knitting and watching television.

Relatives and friends attended from Milwaukee, Wausau, Athens, Medford and the local area.
