Two retired employees of the City of Abbotsford were honored for faithful
service at a dinner held in their honor Monday evening. Honored for seven years
of service to the city was Robert Amacher, former street superintendent, and
honored for nine years of service was Alphonse Herrmann.
Attending the dinner were members of the Abbotsford City Council and their
wives, as well as former councilmen who served during the time the two retired
men worked for the city.
Plaques expressing the city’s appreciation for the faithful service of the two
former employee were presented.
