Apfelbeck, Francis J. (11 Nov 1920 – 3 Aug 1975)

Francis Joseph Apfelbeck, 54, Colby, died August 3, 1975 at Marshfield.

Funeral services were held Thursday, August 7 at the Lulloff Funeral Home, Colby, with the Rev. Francis Rushman officiating.

Burial took place at St. Mary’s Catholic Church Cemetery, Colby.

He was born November 11, 1920 in the Town of Hull (Marathon Co.) and received his education at Rusk and St. Mary’s.

Mr. Apfelbeck was a woodsman and veteran of World War II.

He is survived by his children, Mike and Joe, both of Orofino, Idaho, and Mrs. Lydia Sue Page, Missoula, Montana; his parents, Leo and Hildegarde (Ohlinger) Apfelbeck, Colby; two brothers, John, Wausau, and Leo, Jr., White Law, and seven sisters, Mrs. Stella Jobner, Wooddale, Illinois, Mrs. Monica Biter, Arlington Heights, Illinois, Mrs. Mary Butenschoen, Barrington Hills, Illinois, and Mrs. Mildred Judeus, Mrs. Genevieve Abegglen, and Mrs. Theresa Rindt, all of Stetsonville, and Mrs. Vern (Pearl) Nosbisch, Colby.

He was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
