Peissig, Donna Marie (4 Oct 1975)

Donna Marie Peissig and Freddy Michael Hix were married October 4, 1975, at 1 p.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church, Dorchester.

Father James Schaefer performed the ceremony, uniting the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Peissig, Dorchester, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Buel Hix, Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee.

The bride wore an ivory Peau de Soie empire gown. Pearls and Alencon lace accented the bodice, Shepard’s sleeves and deep ruffled chapel train hemline. The lace was also featured on her Mantilla veil. She carried pink roses, stephanotis, white mums and baby’s breath.

Mary Ann Koski, Rochester, Minnesota, a friend of the bride, was maid of honor. Diane Brill, Wausau, Susie Peissig, Wausau, Mary Peissig, Marshfield, and Ann Peissig, Dorchester, were bridesmaids.

Mark Hix, Nashville, Tennessee, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Groomsmen were Tom Peissig, Dorchester, Jeff Peissig, Dorchester, Gene Orth, Abbotsford, and Mike Ertl, Wausau.

Tom Peissig and Mike Ertl were ushers.

A reception and dinner were held at Memorial Hall, Dorchester, following the ceremony.

The couple will make their home in Nashville.

The bride is a graduate of Colby High School and North Central Technical Institute, Wausau, and is a registered nurse.

The bridegroom is employed at Music City, Honda.
