Oldham, Coleen Marie (3 July 1982)

The Rev. Daniel Ahrens officiated at the Greenwood Trinity Lutheran Church wedding on Saturday, July 3, of Coleen Marie Oldham and Scott Donald Oestreich. Parents of the couple are Gorden and Shirley Oldham, Rt. 1 Greenwood, and Donald and Joann Oestreich, 303 West Spring St., Loyal.

Brenda Djubenski, a cousin of the bride from Greenwood, was maid of honor. She was joined by Lori Schuette, a sister of the bride from Lato; Shari Volovsek, a friend from Willard; and Sharon Plautz, a friend from Greenwood.

Mark Rueth, a cousin of the groom from Loyal, was bestman. He was joined by Terry Olson of Greenwood, Louie Fortuna of Willard and Rodney Kowalczyk of Loyal, all friends of the groom. Ushering were Keith Oldham, the bride’s brother of Greenwood, and Paul Needham, a friend from Marshfield.

Special music at the service was provided by Cheri Schnabel, Laverne Gregorich and Darla Rueth.

The bride chose a sheer knit gown with stand-up collar, matching veil and chapel-length train. She carried a bouquet of red roses and daisies. Her attendants wore pink knit gowns, topped with flowered jackets; they carried bouquets similar to the bride’s. The groom and his attendants were attired in burgundy tuxedos.

Following the service a reception was held at the Loyal American Legion Hall.

She is a 1981 graduate of Greenwood High School and from the City College of Cosmetology in 1982; she is employed by Regis Hairstylists of Marshfield. He, a 1976 graduate of Loyal High school, is employed by Langfeldt Farm Building Repair of Marshfield. The new Mr. and Mrs. Oestreich will make their home in Marshfield.
