The Rev. Elton H. Moore and his family were welcomed to Trinity Lutheran Church in Unity Sunday with a congregation potluck after the 10:30 a.m. service.

Pastor Moore began his ministry at Trinity on January 2nd this year. He, his wife Yvonne, and his children, Kathy, Kelly Ann and Michael are residing in Unity.

Pastor Moore is a native of Belleville, Illinois. He holds a Master of Divinity degree from the Lutheran School of Theology in Chicago, as well as a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University.

His first parish was at Evansville, Indiana. He served St. John’s in Beaver Dam for eight years before coming to Unity.
