Colby head football coach Jim Hagen was awarded “Coach of the Year” honors by
Channel 7 before Thursday evening’s boys basketball game. The Hornet football
team went 10-2 and made it to the third round of the WIAA Division 5 playoffs
with Hagen at the helm. It is the second year in a row that Hagen has won the
award, which is voted on by local coaches.
