Pflughoeft, Arthur (11 May 1898 – 13 September 1982)

Arthur Pflughoeft, 84, a former area carpenter and employee of the B&F Machine Shop in Neillsville, passed away in Neillsville Memorial Hospital on Monday, September 13,

Pflughoeft was born on May 1, 1898, in the Town of Pine Valley to Fred and Ida (Haack) Pflughoeft. He attended Silver Crest School in Pine Valley and then worked in the Neillsville area the remainder of his life. His efforts included work as a carpenter for many years and a time at the B&F Machine Shop. Pflughoeft made his home at 313 West Sixth St., Neillsville.

Surviving him is a sister, Elizabeth Gossmann, Neillsville; and a brother, Leo, also of Neillsville. He was preceded in death by a brother, George; and a sister, Minnie.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday afternoon, September 15, from the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville with the Rev. Gary Clark of the United Church of Christ officiating. Burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.
