The Rev. Andrew Bofenkamp officiated at the September 24 wedding ceremony of Debra Jean Lewer and Robert John Dickman at Christ the King Catholic Church, Spencer.

The bride is the daughter of Irene H. Lewer of Route 2, Spencer. Her husband is the son of Mrs. Esther E. Dickman of Marshfield and the late Edward Dickman.

Dawn Elizabeth Deering of Marshfield was organist for the ceremony, while Sue Sautner and Earl Gable, both of Spencer, were vocalists.

Dennis Lewer gave his sister in marriage. She was seen wearing a Victorian-style gown with English net drop shoulder and ruffled skirt sweeping to a chapel train; matching covered headpiece with fingertip veil. She carried a white lace fan with pink roses, stephanotis and lase streamers.

Darla Lewer of Route 5, Marshfield, was maid of honor. Bridesmatrons were Mrs. Donna Deering, Mrs. Connie Lewer and Mrs. Sharon Schmidt, all of Marshfield.

The maid of honor wore pink and other attendants wore blue Victorian-style gowns with white lace over skirts edged with ruffles. They wore hairpieces of baby's and rose buds. They carried hand-painted lace fans with streamers and roses, stephanotis and baby's breath.

Denise Deering of Marshfield was miniature bridesmaid; flower girl was Diane C. Deering of Marshfield and ring bearer was Damon R. Lewer, of Spencer.

Steve O. Dickman of La Grange, Illinois, was best man. Groomsmen were Dale R. Lewer and Dave Meyer, both of Marshfield, and Doug MacIver of Rochester, Minnesota. Donald C. Deering, Dave SR. Lewer and George R. Schmidt, all of Marshfield, seated wedding guests.

Dinner was at the Casa Loma, while a reception and dance were the the SouthEdge Lounge.

The bride is a Marshfield Senior High graduate, a Fleet Farm supervisor and is owner of Pine Ridge Training Stables. Her husband is a Columbus High School graduate and attended the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. He is a sales manager for Thom McAnn Shoe Store, Northway Mall.

They are residing in Spencer.
