Schoolman, Junior L. (17 March 1939 – 2 February 2023) With Flag

Junior L. Schoolman, 83, of Spencer, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 2, 2023.

To honor Junior’s wishes, no public services will be held.

Junior was born on March 17, 1939, a son to Lincoln and Adeline (Heintz) Schoolman in in Chili, Clark County, WI. He attended Spencer Schools and graduated from Loyal High School. After high school, he joined and served his country in the US Army Reserves from January 1962 – December 1963. After an honorable discharge, he then continued to farm on the family farm until his retirement.

He enjoyed tending to his garden and being in the woods hunting whitetail deer.

Those who will cherish his memory include his sisters: Emilie Steurer of North Carolina and Marlene (Bob) Bryant of Missouri and his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lincoln and Adeline Schoolman; his brother, Victor Schoolman and his sister, Rose Marie Stone Ritchey.
