Castner, Cathy Jean (14 October 1983)

St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal, was the scene of the October 14 marriage of Cathy Jean Castner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Metcalfe. Loyal, and Randall Richard Schmitz, Loyal, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Schmitz, Ogema.

The Rev. James J. Logan solemnized the nuptials during which the bride was given by her parents. Mrs. Darla Rueth was organist and Mrs. Patti Nichols, singer.

Mrs. Connie Manley of Appleton, matron of honor, and Carla and Christine Castner of Loyal, bridesmaids.

Walley Weyer of Spencer was best man. Groomsmen were Mark Schlagenhaft of Chili and Ken Kernz, Loyal, and ushering were Lynn Meacham, Chili, and John Castner.

The reception and dance were at the American Legion Club in Loyal. Loyal is the home of the couple, graduates of Loyal High School, she in 1982 and he in 1974. He works for the Soo Line Railroad.
