Zobrak, Andrew M. (23 Feb 1899 – 23 Feb 1977)

Funeral services were held Saturday, February 26, 1977 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Abbotsford, for Andrew M. Zobrak, age 78, Abbotsford.

The Rev. Emil Hodnik officiated at the 10:30 a.m. rites. Burial followed in the Milan Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Eddie Wichlacz, Scott Wichlacz, David Van De Steele, Dick Hebda, Norton Zobrak and Ronnie Zobrak.

Mr. Zobrak passed away Wednesday, February 23 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.

He was born February 23, 1899, in Iron Belt. He married the former Tillie Konkel, October 23, 1928, at Wuerzburg. They farmed in the Town of Holton from 1942 to 1966, when they moved to Milwaukee. They came to Abbotsford in 1971.

Besides his widow, he is survived by three sons, Dennis an Dale, Milwaukee, and Donald, Concord, California; two daughters, Mrs. Cletus (Loretta) Vand de Casteele, Menomonee Falls, and Mrs. Duane (Susan) Bottin, Las Vegas, Nevada; three brothers, John Abbotsford, Mike Chetek, and George, Oconomowoc, 16 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
