Jerod, Lois (18 June 1983)

A dairy farm near Neillsville is the new home for Mr. and Mrs. Mark Meyer, who were united in marriage on Saturday afternoon, June 18, by the Rev. Gary Clark in nuptials at the Neillsville United Church of Christ.

Sharing vows were Lois Herod of Highland, California, the daughter of Cecil and Mary Coronado, Ypsilanti, Michigan, and Mark A. Meyer, son of Lloyd and Jean Mayer, Neillsville. Offering music for the church service was Elizabeth Bird, the bride’s sister.

Mary Ann Johnson of Ypsilanti was the matron of honor. She was joined by Shannon Seay of Highland, California. Bestman was Scott Meyer of Neillsville; he was joined by Bob Ollech, also of Neillsville. The bride chose a floor length gown with lace, high collar and long sleeves.

Following the service, a reception was held at the home of the bride and groom.

The new Mrs. Meyer attended schools in Ypsilanti and was employed as a film inspector for the Defense Audiovisual Agency at Norton AFB, California. Heer husband a graduate of Neillsville High School, attended Southern Illinois University. He is now dairy farming.
